Overview: This series began as a personal project and my first time working in black and white digitally. In the past, I had only approached monochrome through film, so this shoot became an experiment in stepping outside my usual world of colour. I created a mood board specifically with Lloydd in mind, and photographing him in natural light felt like the right way to explore the language of light and shadow. Stripping colour away revealed contrasts, textures, and expressions that often go unnoticed in the full spectrum. What started as a small experiment became a reminder that changing format can open entirely new ways of seeing.
