Overview: This project began as a collaborative concept with Amber and Raff, inspired by Hong Kong, Chinatown street life, and candid moments. Alongside documenting the ceremony, reception, and first look, we created a series of images throughout Chinatown in Vancouver that felt cinematic, playful, and emotionally grounded. Using primarily digital and Polaroid film, the goal was to create something less polished and traditional, and more atmospheric and lived-in. The couple’s openness to experimentation allowed the work to feel spontaneous yet intentional, resulting in an honest portrait of two people within spaces meaningful to them.
